Meet Our Doctors

Dr. C. Douglas Stine

Dr. Stine earned his Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University. He was awarded his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in Oregon. Because research continues to alter the word of eye care, Dr. Stine is committed to continuous study. He currently holds certifications in both Diagnostic and Therapeutic Ocular Disease Management as well as advanced training in contact lenses and laser refractive co-management. Dr. Stine grew up in North Dakota with his three brothers and three sisters. Married and the father of five, Dr. Stine understands the importance of family. As a patient of Stine Eye Center you can expect to be treated as a member of our eye care family.

Dr. Lawrence Addison Jr.

Dr. Addison Jr. grew up in Antioch, Illinois with his two brothers and parents. He later moved to Birmingham, Alabama where he earned his Doctorate of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama. Dr. Addison loves the profession of Optometry and made this his career choice because of its diversity, and the opportunity to help patients with their vision and eye health needs. Dr. Addison is known for providing his patients with exceptional and individualized optometric care, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. He is committed to family vision care and holds a special interest in Developmental Vision and Sports Vision for children. Dr. Addison’s hobbies include fishing and golfing with his wife Carla, or playing the piano and drums.

Dr. C. Gregory Vickers

Dr. Vickers earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. With special interests in ocular pathology and difficult-to-fit contact lenses, Dr. Vickers is trained to provide the most advanced optometric care possible. In 2007, he earned Fellowship status with the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Vickers also presents a special passion for optometry, having grown up with a grandfather who was blind. “He never knew what I looked like as a child. Growing up with that experience gave me some direction in my career choice”, states Dr. Vickers. Now, with two beautiful children of his own, Dr. Vickers is constantly reminded that one should never stop learning. When not busy caring for his patients, you will find Dr. Vickers hunting, fishing, or golfing with his family and friends.
